Cookies

Cookies Policy

The following is the Cookies Policy (hereinafter, the “Cookies Policy” or the “Policy”) that governs the website https://ecoloop-entrepreneur.eu (hereinafter, the “Website”), managed by ECOLE DES DIRIGEANTS ET CREATEURS D’ENTREPRISES (EDC) – Association Nouvelle EDC (hereinafter, “EDC”, “we” or “us”).

The purpose of this Cookies Policy is to help you understand how we use cookies on this Website, their types, purpose and duration, and to explain the options you have to configure, manage or reject them.

We also recommend that you read our Privacy Policy carefully.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small files or devices that are downloaded and stored on your terminal (i.e. the device from which you access the Website: computer, mobile phone, tablet or any other internet-connected device) and allow the Website to remember information about your visit.

In general, cookies can be classified as follows:

a) Depending on who manages the cookies:

  • First-party cookies: These are sent to the User’s terminal from a computer or domain managed by the website editor, in this case EDC, from which the service requested by the User is provided.
  • Third-party cookies: These are sent to the User’s terminal from a computer or domain that is not managed by the website editor, but by another entity that processes the data obtained through the cookies. If cookies are installed from a computer or domain managed by EDC but the information collected through them is managed by a third party, they will be considered third-party cookies. In this respect, EDC may contract analytics and measurement services that analyse Users’ browsing behaviour on the Website on its behalf and in its name, solely for the purpose of improving the services provided.

b) Depending on the purpose of the cookies:

  • Technical cookies: These allow the User to browse the Website and use the different options or services available, such as controlling traffic and data communication, identifying the session, accessing areas with restricted access, remembering the elements of an application, making a request to register or participate in an event, using security elements while browsing, storing content for video or sound broadcasting or sharing content through social networks.
  • Personalisation cookies: These allow the User to access the service with certain predefined characteristics based on criteria in the User’s terminal, such as language, the type of browser used to access the service or the regional configuration from which the service is accessed.
  • Analytics cookies: These allow the party responsible for them to monitor and analyse the behaviour of Users of the websites to which they are linked. The information collected through this type of cookies is used to measure activity on the Website and to create browsing profiles of its Users, in order to introduce improvements based on the analysis of how Users make use of the service.
  • Advertising cookies: These allow the management, in the most efficient way possible, of the advertising spaces that, where appropriate, the editor has included on a website, application or platform from which the requested service is provided, based on criteria such as the content edited or the frequency at which the advertisements are shown.
  • Behavioural advertising cookies: These enable the management, in the most efficient way possible, of the advertising spaces that, where appropriate, the publisher has included on a website, application or platform from which the requested service is provided. These cookies store information on Users’ behaviour obtained through continuous observation of their browsing habits, which allows a specific profile to be developed in order to display advertising based on that profile.

c) Depending on how long they remain active on the terminal (duration):

  • Session cookies: These are designed to collect and store data while the User accesses the Website. Session cookies allow a website to recognise the User within a single browsing session.
  • Persistent cookies: In these cookies, the data remain stored on the terminal and can be accessed and processed for a period defined by the party responsible for the cookie, which may range from a few minutes to several years.
2. What cookies does this Website use?

The specific cookies used on this Website, along with their characteristics, are detailed in the cookie settings panel, where you will find at least the following information:

  • Name of the cookie
  • Type (e.g. technical, analytics, personalisation)
  • Provider / Ownership (first-party or third-party)
  • Duration / Expiry
  • Purpose

If we embed content from third-party platforms (for example, videos or interactive content), these providers may use their own cookies. Whenever possible, we will use privacy-enhanced solutions and will inform you of such third-party cookies in the cookie settings panel.

You may change your cookie settings on this Website at any time through the configuration panel that will always be accessible from this page or from the link provided in the footer.

Remember that technical cookies are essential to enable navigation on the Website, so their deactivation or blocking by the User may prevent its proper functioning.
